Though our field trip to the YES garden was cancelled, we were lucky enough to have some of the fabulous nutrition staff members teach us a little bit about the school garden. We learned about some of the vegetables that are grown in it, some of the animals that like to visit it, and even got to shuck corn and taste some fresh garden tomatoes!
